Prairie Conference “All-Conference” girls basketball players are Jessie Frisch, Stacy Gonsior, honorable mention Gina Oven, Theresa Massmann, Leah Michael and Robin Beck.

The student chapter of Habitat for Humanity at Concordia College, Moorhead, sent 130 students to work at six Habitat for Humanity worksites, during the college’s spring break February 22-March 2. Students from our area participating were Jerene Carlson, daughter of Victor and Peggy Carlson of Browerville. And Jill Manlove, daughter of Richard and JoAnn Manlove of Long Prairie.

March 23, 1972

Al Meyman, Mike Zigan and Gerard Hoelscher were picked for the All-Conference team for the Prairie Conference.

Connie Holscher, a student at Alexandria Area Technical School, won second place in the competitive event of Marketing Team Problem and honorable mention in the Competitive Event of Chapter Marketing Improvement at the post-secondary state DECA Leadership Conference in St. Paul.
