Browerville/Eagle Valley 7 LPGE 4 in Clarissa

The Thunder scored 1 in the top of the first, Tigers scored 1 in the third on an RBI groundout by Trey Lancaster, 3 in the 4th highlighted by a two-run triple by Miguel Maloney, and three more in the 6th highlighted by an error and three walks.

The Thunder again scored 3 runs in the 7th from 3 Tigers errors but eventually, pitcher Hans Puck was able to strike out three.

The Tigers had 7 runs on 7 hits and committed 3 errors. The Thunder had 4 runs on 7 hits and committed 4 errors.

Nate Benning was the winning pitcher. He pitched 6 innings and gave up 1 run on 6 hits and struck out 12. Hans Puck pitched the 7th and didn’t allow an earned run striking out 3 . . .
