White is named Brainerd Area Male Athlete of the Week

The boys had a busy week with four meets on the week.

They started the week on Monday in Bemidji. There were 16 teams with 81 golfers total.

Carter White tied for 1st with a 73 (+1) after having a bit of a roller coaster round. He had lots of ups and downs. He finished with 6 birdies on his card. A birdie is when a player completes a hole one stroke under par.

Jackson White finished 9th with a 77 (+5) after starting +5 through his first three holes.

After that start he played pretty steady. He finished with four birdies.

The Cardinals team finished 2nd behind Bemidji.

On Tuesday they competed at Deacon’s Lodge.

Carter won this meet for the 3rd time in the last 4 years. He shot a 70 (-2) with four birdies on his round.

Jackson struggled with his iron shots. He finished 18th with an 82 to help lead the team to a 2nd place finish....
