by Coach Heidi Brandsma On Tuesday, October 14, the Verndale Pirates cross-country team competed at the Park Region Conference meet, hosted by Otter Tail Central and held at Balmoral Golf Course.  We were greeted with cold, rainy conditions, but overall, the Pirates rose to the occasion and ran well.
