Girls' Golf Team Faces Tough Competition at Bemidji and Frazee Meets
by Matt Uselman The Staples-Motley-Verndale girls golf team traveled to a meet in Frazee on the 21st. The team finished in 6th place out of 8 teams. Katelyn Schotzko led the team with an 8th place finish 98. Mara Uselman shot a 102 for a 12th place finish. Meredith Hoemberg shot a 122 for 32 place and Bookly Winter shot a 124 for a 35th place finish. There was a total of 49 golfers at the meet. Wolves Boys Take Third Place
by Coach Charlie Steir The Wolves boys’ varsity golf team started the season hot with a 3rd place finish on April 20. Max Berscheid led the way with an 82 and took 4th place as an individual. Tigers Off to a Tough Start this Season
