The Section 6A Individual Wrestling Tournament was held Friday, February 20, at Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools, with the top two finishers in each weight class advancing to the state tournament. The LPGE Wolves will send four wrestlers to the state tournament following strong performances across multiple weight classes. At 107 pounds, Hayden Hiebert claimed the section championship. The Pirates trailed 28-29 before regaining the lead and, after that, never lost the lead. The Pirates outrebounded the taller Thunder team 55-49.
