A Matter of Perspective
I’ve been reading a new book. Well, not a “new” book—it’s been in print since 2013—but it is new in the sense that I have never read it before. I have known about this book since it was published, but I was never ready to read it before.
When we were in the store this week, I saw the book sitting on the shelf—its yellow-colored cover seeming to be beckoning me.
I picked up the book and read the cover.
A self-help book.
That’s all I needed. And still, the book seemed to be calling to me, inviting me to slip between its covers and get comfortable.
I looked at the cover again. Then I flipped it over and looked at the back...
I looked at the cover again. You are a Bada**: How to stop doubting your greatness and start living an Awesome Life.
“Very catchy title,” I thought.
I decided to give this book a try. I paid my money and immediately began to read the book. I had only read the first paragraph of the introduction when I knew I had made the right choice!
If you haven’t heard of this pearl, I really suggest you look for it at a bookstore (or any other shopping places) or go online and order it.
I think this book can prove to be life-changing if a person is open to it. I mean, who doesn’t want to start living an awesome life, right?
It may not be a very long book at about 250 pages, but the pages are packed with knowledge and life-changing stuff. But, as I said, you gotta want to change.
It is the same way with anything, if you want to see change, you gotta “be” change.
Change comes often. You have to be ready for it at any time. We can make changes, too, however.
Those are the things we can control or at least have a semblance of control over. Changes make the world go around and why not make changes within yourself to make the world a better place?
