The trio of Rachel Johnson and Magaen and George Kveton took their skills to Africa on a mission trip to West Africa. They left on April 15 and spent a week there.
Their mission was to assist the missionaries at an English Center. The center has been in operation for over 10 years and is affiliated with the Christian Missionary Alliance. A college roommate of Rachelās helped to start the center. People come to the center to learn English to further their careers, as English is the international business language. Many are or have attended a university.
Rachel has been there before, about five years ago, with a group on a mission trip to help the Verndale Alliance Church decide what mission they could assist with.
The trio was supposed to go on this trip in 2020, but the pandemic changed those plans. . .
