A new addition to Verndale’s skyline

On the morning of August 10, Maguire Iron crews took the support beams off of the top piece of the new water tower and hoisted the 36,000-pound tank to the top of the 32,000-pound stem. The new water tower is located near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Butler Street. It added a new view to Verndale’s main street. Painting could start as soon as this week.
