Boating accident injures multiple people
On July 3, at approximately 10:44 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a boat that struck a pontoon on Big Birch Lake in Grey Eagle Township. Deputies arrived to find multiple people with injuries that needed to be transported to the hospital.
The Melrose Ambulance responded along with the Stearns County Sheriff’s office, Grey Eagle Fire Department and the Minnesota DNR to assist in the incident.
The incident is being investigated by the Todd County Sheriff’s office.
