Browerville School Board looks at new options

On May 3, the Browerville School Board met in a work session with members from InGensa and GLTArchitects to review some new options.

No decisions could be made at the meeting.

There was discussion about the hope for funds from the legislature through special funds including $7.8 million in a bonding bill which had not been rejected as of the meeting.

Representative Ron Kresha had also pushed for an additional $1 million which was still on the table at the time of the meeting.

According to Superintendent Scott Vedbraaten, they are still waiting on the amount from the insurance.

They need that number for the conference committee at the legislature to be able to make their decision. . .
