Where did all those antique cars come from?

A local Verndale business “The Galley of Verndale” held its first-ever Car Show on Thursday evening, May 19.

In spite of the gloomy weather, drivers came to participate in a “Meet and Greet” showing off their antique cars of all makes and models.

They utilized the church parking lot next to the restaurant which allowed plenty of parking space for the cars.

People of all ages attended to admire the vehicles and talk with the car owners.

One driver and car enthusiast, Tom Dunrud, shared a short story about the truck he brought to display.

“This truck sat in the woods north of Verndale for 33 years,’’ explained Dunrud. . .
