The Eagle Valley Rebels baseball team gave top ranked Sauk Centre a scare in the semi-finals of the Subsection 2 baseball tournament. The Rebels held a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth before the Mainstreeters rallied for two runs to tie the Rebels. Sauk Centre came up with a big 5-run sixth inning to put the game away and win 8-2.

Don Kotula, Clarissa, has been selected to attend the State 4-H Conservation Camp from June 8-12 at Itasca State Park at the University of Minnesota’s Forestry and Biological station.

The Lions will “caper” this Thursday evening at the school auditorium with a lot of entertainment for everyone. Clarissa’s three dairy princess candidates, Linda Fuller, Cheryl Carlson and Donna Pachan, will be present and be presented at the end of the program.
