Seven Oaks Express restores gas service

A horrific accident destroyed the gas pumps at Seven Oaks Express in Bertha three months ago, and they are ecstatic to be able to provide full service again.

On October 26, 2023, a drunk driver struck a gas pump, causing an explosion and a second pump was damaged with her car.

Manager Jennie Flanery recalled the phone call she received when she was told there was a fire.

“It didn’t quite sink in until I got here,” shared Flanery. “I didn’t process the magnitude until I saw it.”...
