Skid steer a total loss after fire

On Saturday, August 14, at 5:03 p.m., the Hewitt and Wadena fire departments were dispatched to the area of County Highway 75 and 260th Street, Compton Township, in Otter Tail County, to the Tom Doll residence for a skid steer on fire in a hayfield. A small portion of the field was also on fire along with a hay pile. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire. The skid steer was a total loss. The blaze was believed to have been caused by the skid steer. Also assisting the fire departments was the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
