Tigers are 2-0 in Conference

After a long Christmas break and an additional postponed game due to weather, the Tigers girls basketball team found themselves in action against section opponent Bertha-Hewitt.
The Tigers and Bears started off the first few minutes trading baskets and possessions until the Tigers were able to step things up defensively and break loose with some fast break points. The Tigers led by as many as 21 in the first half but the Bears went on a late run of their own to bring the score to 37-23 at the half in favor of the Tigers.
The Bears came out and hit a quick three before the Tigers’ defense once again caused some troubles for the Bears. The Tigers were able to stretch the lead back out to 24. . .
