Tigers open season with two victories

The Tigers softball team opened up the 2023 campaign last Monday, April 10, on a beautiful spring day by traveling to the College of St. Ben’s to take on one of the top teams in section 6A, the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines. Tigers bats were in mid-season form as they would collect 14 hits on the day to claim the victory by a final of 13-3.
After CGB struck first with two runs in the top of the first, Browerville/Eagle Valley immediately answered back by scoring three runs in the bottom of the frame. The Tigers would go on to score three more in the 2nd, one in the 3rd, and three more in the 5th before surrendering a lone run to CGB in the top of the 6th. . .
