The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on March 21. Commissioner Bill Stearns was absent.
PFAs Testing
Solid Waste Director Chris McConn explained they have to produce a yearly groundwater quality report.
The county’s demolition landfill permit requires annual monitoring and reporting of groundwater quality by a qualified hydrogeologist. Wadena has used Barr Engineering. This includes additional investigative work to better understand groundwater quality at the landfill. Work would include the installation of a new upgradient well . . .
