This year marks a special anniversary in the disappearance of news anchor Jodi Huisentruit.
She would have turned 54 years old on June 5.
According to the Facebook Group “FindJodi, Inc.” June is always a rough month for her family and loved ones as it includes her birthday and the date she went missing.
This year marks the 27th anniversary of her abduction and is a sad reminder that she has been gone for as many years as she was alive.
Huisentruit was abducted in Mason City, Iowa while employed as a morning news anchor for KIMT-TV. It is known that she was abducted from the parking lot of her apartment complex on June 27, 1995.
Her body has never been found. There are very few clues related to her abduction. Her case remains open and unsolved. . .
