Bears silence the Thunder

This past week saw the Bears play the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder in a Section 5A contest. The Bears prevailed 52 – 14.

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears came out on Tuesday night ready to play on both ends of the court.

The Bears used a combination of defensive pressure and controlling the glass to take down the Thunder of Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.

The Bears started the game off with back-to-back baskets by Michaela Barthel. First finishing in traffic on a contested layup followed by a 3-pointer....
