Bertha-Hewitt’s first Athletic Hall of Fame inductees


Bertha-Hewitt School is honored and pleased to announce the inductees into the school’s first athletic Hall of Fame:

Coaches

Richard Finck—Boys Basketball, 1974-2007. 508 career wins, 12x conference champs, 3x section champs.

Janelle Bright—Volleyball, 1982-2015. 608 career wins, 12x conference champs, 4x section champs.

Athletes

Lawrence Rach (posthumous inductee), Class of 1951. All-State football team 1950.

Mel Boehland (posthumous), Class of 1961. Played college football at UND and played for MN Vikings for three years.

Vaughn Hokanson (posthumous), Class of 1946. Described by those that knew him as the best athlete of that time.

Wendy (DeVorak) Kohler, Class of 1979. MSUM HOF inductee for girls basketball. . .
