Fischer Fitness Wrestling Facility Lease Raises More Questions than Answers for Browerville School

At their regular meeting on March 13, the Browerville School Board held a discussion about the possibility of leasing a wrestling facility from Fischer Fitness in Browerville. The facility would be built by Fischer and the Browerville and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle schools would lease it at $10,000 a year for five years.
This would break down to $2000 per school per month for the five months of the year that wrestling is active.
But the board felt that there were too many unanswered questions including how would the Wrestling Club pay the lease for the other seven months of the year?
Another question raised was who would pay for the mats? At $15,000 per mat for two mats that is a hefty price tag. Then the question was raised about who could use the mats?
The two competition mats are currently stored at the LP-GE school. . .
