These two six-foot-tall metal roosters are dressed up and ready for the hunting season.

The roosters belong to Shirley and Bob Anderson of rural Verndale.

Shirley loves roosters. She received the silver one three years ago as a present from her son in Georgia for her surprise 75th birthday party. Shirley also has 20 other rooster-themed items around the yard. The other big metal rooster is Christmas themed, red and green with a Santa hat. . .
