Members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Hewitt enjoyed a picnic in the Hewitt Park on Sunday and also observed the sixth birthday anniversary of Mary Elda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jo Russell. Mary Elda received a number of gifts but the outstanding feature of the day was the presentation of a folding wheelchair to the little miss, who has never walked.

Reverend Walter Ratzlaff, Mary Lou Solid, Phyllis Bluhm and Glen Klebs, delegates from the local Church of God, attended the international Young People’s Convention.
