The Tigers football team improved their overall record to 2-1 and evened their conference record at 1-1 with a 33-0 win over the USA Patriots at Browerville last Friday night. Browerville scored their first half touchdown on a 23 yard pass from Mitch Johnson to Adam Asmus. The second half the Tigers took the opening kickoff and marched 88 yards in 15 plays to take the 12-0 lead. Jay Brisson intercepted a pass on the Patriots.

September 21, 1950
Harold L. Gorman, seaman recruit, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Borman of Browerville, is undergoing recruit training at the wold’s largest Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Recruit training is the sharp break between civilian and Naval life in which the new Navy man learns the fundamental principles of the Naval service.

The Heartford-Little Elk Farm Bureau Unit will resume their monthly meetings on Thursday evening, September 21, at 8:30 p.m. at the Browerville City Hall. Movies will be shown. Bingo will be played, proceeds going to the Sister Kenny Fund. Please bring an article for the bingo game. Mr. Lynn, agriculture instructor at Browerville High School, will speak.
