Not many people know where tiny Mill Lake is located in Todd County, but that is about to change. Mill Lake is located east of Browerville about eight miles on County Road 29. It is an idyllic setting in the Squaw Tip Hills left by three ancient glaciers which once covered the northern two-thirds of the state. The hills were formed by retreating glaciers which left rolling oak hills dotted by small ponds and lakes. Mill Lake is the proposed site for a new state park but not everyone is enthralled with the prospect.

Last Sunday, the Browerville OTW baseball team traveled to Grey Eagle and came home on the short end of a 2 to 2 score, but the boys really gave them a battle. The contest went 15 innings and lasted three hours and 20 minutes, which made it one of the longest games in OTW league history.
