Norma Godding is the new community greeter in Eagle Bend. She is calling on newcomers in the Eagle Bend area with a basket full of goodies from 29 area businesses and information relating to goods and services in the area. She is representing the Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation. Norma will be at the Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation meeting on Friday morning at 7 a.m. at Sir Anthony’s and will have the baskets for business people to view.
The Eagle Valley Rebels ended their regular season with an impressive 33-0 victory over the Parkers Prairie Panthers last Wednesday evening in Eagle Bend. The Rebels scored three first-quarter touchdowns and the defense shut down the Panthers.

In an announcement made this week by Mr. Paul Revering of the Midwest Telephone Company, an upgrading program of the telephone exchange in Eagle Bend is now underway.
The children of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nordlund will host an open house in honor of their parent’s 40th wedding anniversary on October 25 at the Assembly of God Church in Eagle Bend.
