School's back in session


Part of the new “normal” for school includes face coverings and hand sanitizer. Many students have not stepped foot in the school since it was closed back in March. Above, Instructor Erica Myers at the Browerville Public School gave all the students waiting in line for breakfast a shot of hand sanitizer. At right, students and staff were elated to participate in Bertha-Hewitt School’s in-person learning as they walked through the doors on the first day on September 8. Everyone wore face coverings as they organized their lockers, conversed with classmates, headed off to breakfast, or headed to class which included socially distanced seating.
