Julie Leikvoll and her team at Labor of Love in Little Falls took on the mission to help people in Todd and Morrison counties that need to find basic household items from clothes to furniture, while assisting those that have items they wish to donate

Volunteering to help others in need became a full-time job for Julie Leikvoll of Little Falls.

Labor of Love is a non-profit organization to help people with essential needs from clothing to furniture in Todd and Morrison counties.

Leikvoll was part of a pandemic preparedness team and began volunteering full-time in February of 2020. She initially began by working with the Crisis Line and independently offering telephone support to those struggling. She also took people to appointments. As the pandemic continued, the thrift stores became overwhelmed with donations, were running out of space and some had to stop taking donations. . .
