“This place felt like home” New owner takes over Granny’s Cafe

“I drove all over the state and this place felt like home.”
Those were the words of Andrea Rogge of Coon Rapids when she happened upon a listing for Granny’s Y’all Come Back Cafe in Eagle Bend and made the trek to check it out.
The cafe has a long history and was most recently owned and operated by Tony and Marion Massmann.
The Massmann’s were no strangers to operating a food service business as they operated the Clarissa Ballroom from 1986 until 1991 when they bought the Eagle Bend Cafe and called it Sir Anthony’s. The Massmann’s daughter Becky and her husband Jim operate the ballroom now.
After they had operated Sir Anthony’s for a few years, they sold the business and it became Ms. Maggie’s Cafe for about three and a half years. . .
