Threat made toward Long Prairie-Grey Eagle School

A Facebook post by the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Schools was made on November 15 that stated a threat was made against the school:

“You may have heard rumors that a student has made a threat towards the high school, this rumor is true. However, your school district is aware and took immediate action. We are working with the police department and the student’s family and the student will not be in school until this is resolved. The school district firmly believes that the threat is contained and that it is safe for your children to attend school. We thank the students who alerted the school.”

The Long Prairie Police Department said the School’s notice is the only data that can be released right now.
