Todd County Board of Commissioners: Concern about culvert survey discussed

The regular meeting of the Todd County Board of Commissioners was held on June 7.
As part of the consent agenda, Commissioner Barb Becker asked that the hiring of Spencer Norling as a planning and zoning summer intern be pulled for clarification. After discussion, his hiring was approved as part of the consent agenda
Background: Planning and Zoning received one application for a summer intern to start on a culvert inventory project. Spencer Norling was interviewed and found to have met the minimum requirements.
This intern position is funded by the Sourcewell program and wages will be reimbursed.
The county does have to pay any taxes and benefits.
Becker wanted to get clarification on what this intern would be doing. . .
