The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on April 17.

Septic System Inspection

Commissioner Jon Kangas discussed a complaint he received about adding a spouse’s name to a deed that triggered a septic system inspection notice.

Kangas explained that it is not transferring ownership and that should be clarified in the ordinance.

Deana Malone, planning and zoning, added the language was done and approved by the county attorney and felt their interpretation was correct. If they want them to change it they can. . .
