Wadena County Commissioners: Discuss where waste should be hauled

The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on January 7.
Commissioner Chuck Horsager was elected as board chair. Commissioner Jim Hofer was elected as vice chair.
Citizen Complaint
Eugene Morthberg II shared his concern about unlicensed social workers in the county.
Morthberg also had concerns about the board considering combining the department of health and human services.
He said there’s no state law that a social worker has to be licensed in the state, but there’s nothing stopping the county from requiring them to have a license.
Morthberg said he was unhappy about human services and how they have treated him and his children. He made a complaint to the state board of social workers and was informed the people he complained about were not licensed. . . .
