Youth group travels to Costa Rica

The seniors and recent graduate members of the New Life Church of God Youth Group went on a mission trip to Costa Rica for nearly two weeks this summer.
Youth Pastor Mike Quance explained this was a first of its kind mission trip, traveling outside of the U.S.
Quance, along with Pastor Jason Knoll and his wife, Karen, escorted the nine students to the tropical island.
“We felt there was a missions element missing from our youth mastery,” said Quance. “We haven’t always been able to make missions happen.”
Quance was able to make this mission happen.
The students had been involved in planning the trip since the beginning, when the decision was made last Fall to do this. They have participated in planning meetings and fundraising for the trip. . .
