Wolves Boys Take Third Place
by Coach Charlie Steir The Wolves boys’ varsity golf team started the season hot with a 3rd place finish on April 20. Max Berscheid led the way with an 82 and took 4th place as an individual. He was followed by Breckan Kobliska 91, Anthony Lafreniere 97, Nick Biegler, and Broden Line, both shot 98, and Ben Biegler 123. The varsity team will travel to Tipsinah on Thursday. Wolves Girls Kick Off Season with Impressive Finishes
by Coach Charlie Steir The Varsity girls had a great first meet of the year. As individuals, Paxton Line placed 6th, Theresa Lafreniere took 8th, and Brianna Lux took 14th. Tigers Off to a Tough Start this Season
by Coach Jason Peterschick Osakis 10, Browerville Eagle Valley 9, at Browerville on April 21. Osakis, 10 runs, 8 hits, 1 error. BEV 9 runs, 6 hits, 2 errors. Osakis started the scoring in the bottom of the first with a leadoff single that came around to score for a 1-0 lead. Osakis then added two more runs in the 3rd inning on 3 hits to take a 3-0 lead. by Coach Rollie Lais The Browerville Tigers turned in a well-rounded performance at Tuesday’s track and field meet in Long Prairie, highlighted by strong finishes in sprinting, field events, and relays. In the boys’ 100-meter dash, sophomore Tyler Rowe led the Tigers with a personal-best time of 12.31 seconds, placing ninth overall.
