Eagle Bend Housing project boldly moves forward after two-point denial

There are many people who have been working on a housing project in Eagle Bend for up to 10 years or longer.

One of those people is Verna Toenyan.

She is a huge proponent for senior housing in rural Minnesota. So are Sharon Notch and Jay Eckel from Eagle Bend.

Together, along with the support of the Eagle Bend City Council and Administration, they have made huge gains in getting support and funding opportunities for the conversion of the former Eagle Bend School into senior housing apartments....
