Tim Moe, Tim Bayerl and Jeff Jedline from Widseth, Smith and Nolting, who did the engineering project for the street and water/sewer repairs in Clarissa last summer, met with the city council to discuss problems with the engineer’s cost for repair projects. The engineering costs ran approximately $20,000 over the estimate. Bayerl explained the project grew from just doing Main Street to adding Leslie Avenue. Bayerl explained there were several changes to the plan, the over run was from the length of time of construction and more staking than expected.

The Eagle Valley Football Team lost their second game as they visited the Royalton Royals last Friday. Just as in the first week, the Rebels were in position to win the game. Royalton scored with under two minutes left in the game and held on for a 20-15 victory.
