Anyone driving around Central Ag Services in Eagle Bend since October 15 has seen a lot of corn. For a time the corn was piled on the street. Earlier this fall a second dryer was added, nearly doubling the drying capacity, 400-700 bushels an hour. They have been running 24 hours a day, seven days a week, since October 15.

The Eagle Bend Girl Scouts will be caroling in the community on Friday, December 12. They will meet at the city hall and come back afterward for hot cocoa and goodies. Anyone else wanting to join in—please do!

Area youngsters are reminded that Santa Claus will make his annual appearance in Eagle Bend on Saturday, December 16 and will help with the distribution of bags of goodies to be provided by the Eagle Bend Commercial Club.

The Eagle Bend Commercial Club will sponsor the second annual Christmas Lighting Dance which will be held on Saturday, December 16 at the Clarissa Ballroom.
